In Sunk cost, a mirrored bearing-ball the size of a baseball sits on a found marble trophy base. Its unlikely weight anchors a spray of red nylon around the ball, suspended off the wall by a high steel hook that arcs under the weight and tension of the threads. A tail of the now-slack red threads protrudes towards a head-on viewer from the underside of the marble base.
